and I knew that all along, it was just a matter of how long until it was.
and it is now.
Marcus realized what was going on in his head and we talked about it. it was a huge sigh of relief to let go of the sadness and unknowing and see that Marcus and I really do have something worth holding on to. so then, of course, I had to drive down and see him. his band Red Clay River was playing a show with James River Congregation in a coffee shop in a strip mall in Forest Virginia, a small town about an hour from Roanoke. the venue was a little awkward but it was the first time I got to see Marcus play a show and it was fun. and the sunset last night was gorgeous. it was a lovely end to a mostly terrible week.
