My trip to Alexandria, all in all was to much like old times to be very enjoyable. But it wasn’t all bad. I did however, leave my computer there. I was a bit upset but then decided to take on the challenge of being computer-less for a week or however long it’d take to get it back. Well, I got it less than two days later but it was an insightful two days. I had nothing to do at work but listen to classical music on NPR and read. I read “To Kill A Mockingbird” and “Death of a Salesman” in three days. I am purposely going to bring my computer to work less and spend more time reading while I’m in the swing of it. I finished “One Day In The Life of Ivan Deniscovich” today and have begun “Grapes of Wrath.” I am on a roll and I enjoy it.
