I have wanted to do this project for a long time and I finally began to tackle it. A couple years ago I found instructions for fusing plastic grocery bags together to make a more durable plastic that can then be made into things like reusable grocery bags. I only half knew what I was doing so these are just initial trials.
The bigger one ended up being much taller than intended, it’d be perfect for a gallon of milk and while the smaller one is much more proportional, it’s quite small. I think I might try larger garbage bags so I can make a larger piece of “fabric” and get something more the size I want. Way to upcycle!

I was given a chocolate mint plant for my birthday and I had no idea what to do with it. The pictures didn’t catch them but last night I made some chocolate chip cookies to which I added some of the mint that I had dried and they are really delicious. Mmmm… I also made Tiramisu cupcakes for a potluck we went to Saturday night and they were a big hit. Sorry though, no pictures.

I’m glad I’ve been in a bit of a crafty mood lately. Let’s hope it continues!
