Remember that project I was supposed to show you today?

Well, it is a quilt for Marcus’ birthday which was yesterday, and it did not get finished.

Not to make excuses but one of the hardest things was how much sewing kills my back. After working for an hour or two, I can’t do anything comfortably but I don’t know how to fix this. I’m too young to have back problems. Earlier in the year I bought a table top and legs from Ikea that can be raised or lowered but it doesn’t go high enough, I guess. Do any of you that sew have any advice? Something has to change!

The other problem was my lack of fabric pieces big enough to make one side (there’s not a proper front and back to this quilt) and I haven’t had the means to buy more. Despite this, I “gave” him the quilt anyway and hope to finish soon. I love this fabric a whole lot and might even make another quilt out of them, too.

  1. Despite how uncool that thing looks, it might help! :) And for only 10$, I could actually try that. If I do, I'll let you know!
