Looking back and ahead.

Now is the time when all the blogs I read look back on the last year and chronicle all the amazing projects they finished. And I usually feel… like I’m not up to snuff. There are some really prolific quilters and crafters out there and I am not one of them. But I want to be.

It does help me a little to make a photo collage of all the completed projects. So here are many of the crafty things I did in 2010..All the quilts (6, one not pictured) happened in the beginning of the year and more crafty things happened later. I have three quilts in some state of completion right now that will hopefully start this year off right!

I agree with Christina that I don’t (want to) make resolutions but to set goals for myself

I saw the 365 day challenge go around the blogosphere last year and I would like to try it. The idea is simple: to take one picture a day. That sounds totally doable, right?

I would like to start carrying a small notebook around with me to help keep track of more thoughts and ideas. I already have a stack of Moleskines laying around that are asking to be covered and used.

This year I WILL open an Etsy shop. I will fill it with wonderful things :)
I would like to get back in the habit of keeping up my Listography. Books, movies, projects, travels, etc. I like looking back on them at the end of the year.

I should refinish more furniture. And always take before and after photos.

Anytime I change a recipe or make one up, I will post it on my blog. I would also like to start posting some tutorials occasionally. I want to do my 30 Days, 30 Projects month.

My blog will move to my own domain name and get an awesome redesign. If I have to pay someone for it, I will (but a trade would be even better). I want to become a more “legitimate” blogger and start marketing myself a bit more.

I want to explore more international literature.

I will start an art collection.

Here’s to a great 2011.
